STIPEND IS R 1 850.00 PER MONTH The Ugu District Municipality has launched a student and graduate internship programme under its special ASGISA initiative to grow skills in the engineering department and local government. Civil Engineering students and graduates are required as part of a capacity building and internship project to receive training to meet the practical requirements of qualification and ultimately graduation. Students requiring experiential training (P1 & P2) should have a minimum of S3 and graduates a minimum of a National Diploma. This programme provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to obtain structured workplace training in the Municipal Engineering Sector, under the guidance and mentorship of Senior Engineers with extensive municipal experience. This appointment is on a one (01) year contract basis.
